Breast Augmentation

While most breast augmentations in the US are still performed with implants, fat grafting for breast augmentation is increasingly becoming more and more popular on a yearly basis. Its natural appearance, feel and maintenance-free nature are some of the appealing and almost irresistible characteristics.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

A breast lift procedure is designed to improve excess skin and underlying tissues that have become loose and flabby. This is very common and can be a result of age, genetics, pregnancy, breast feeding or large amounts of weight loss. A breast lift may be combined with breast augmentation for a fuller look or may be performed on its own to give breasts a lift and perkier appearance.

Breast Reduction

Excessively large and saggy breasts can cause extreme physical discomfort, health problems, and emotional stress for many women. Breast reduction can help correct back, shoulder and neck pain as well as poor posture, skin irritations, skeletal deformities, breathing problems and numbness in the extremities due to nerves being compressed. Technically, breast reduction surgeries are different from mastopexy only in the amount of skin and tissue removal. Breast reduction surgery can help alleviate the discomfort and provide a more attractive and proportionate breast appearance.

Nipple Reduction

Nipple reduction for significantly enlarged nipples is made using a combination of different mini flap techniques. Although it can be performed alone, it is most commonly done in combination with either a breast reduction, breast augmentation, or breast lift.

Nipple Inversion

The most important part for treating inverted nipples is to make sure that a newly developed nipple inversion is not due to a tumor or cancer. Beyond that, our doctor performs a very elegant correction for nipple inversion, using an ultra-minimally invasive technique, and the recurrence rate is very low.

Breast Reconstruction

The goal of breast reconstruction is to restore one or both breasts to near normal shape, appearance, symmetry and size following mastectomy, lumpectomy or congenital deformities. Minor breast reconstruction for patients with lumpectomy (partial breast removal) is usually done with fat grafting. Since there is often significant scarring involved, special instruments are employed to relieve the tension of the scars to facilitate the fat grafting.

Accessory Breast Removal/Reduction

Accessory breast in a large number of people, signified by a bulging lump of tissue to the outer side of a tank top or bra. It could prove to be quite embarrassing, especially during the summer. For the accessory breasts with mostly fat tissue, Kybella for fat dissolving could be used, although multiple treatments may be needed. Otherwise, simple small liposuction could easily remove this lump of embarrassing “fat.” In some cases, however, the accessory breast could be mostly composed of lumpy breast glandular tissue. Since glandular tissue cannot be liposuctioned, it would require a small incision in the armpit to have the accessory tissue removed by direct excision.

Male Breast Reduction (Man-boobs, Gynecomastia)

Gynecomastia surgery is gaining popularity due to the simple fact that people are getting bigger and fatter. First, certain endocrinological etiologies or cancers need to be ruled out. Then the surgery can usually be done by utilizing a combination of liposuction and direct excision of the breast glands sitting just under the nipples.

Male Pectoralis Muscle (Pec Muscle) Augmentation

Having a large pair of pectoralis (pec) muscles is the dream for many guys, but working out, weight lifting, or doing push-ups doesn’t always work. The solution is fat grafting to the deep side of pec muscle in strategically positions. The procedure can be done in an hour or so and its an excellent way to boost the dominant alpha male image.
