What to Expect on the Day of a Hydrafacial Treatment

When it is time for your treatment, our friendly team will first greet you and make you comfortable. Once you’re settled, we will begin with the easy 3-step treatment.

The first step is to give your skin a proper cleanse using a lactic acid-based serum that gently softens the surface oils and impurities to effortlessly lift them away with the patented vortex suction. Then, a glycol preparation is applied that utilizes alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) to dissolve dead skin cells and beta hydroxy acid (BHA) to penetrate the pores and dislodge trapped debris.

Next, is to extract the impurities and give your skin a boost of hydration. Hydrafacial is great because it doesn’t require any harsh exfoliation methods like other treatments because it uses hydra dermabrasion to delicately vacuum away the impurities and dead skin, leaving behind a refreshed canvas. Stop using Retin-A and other prescribed medications 48 hours before your treatment
Discontinue over-the-counter acne topicals 48 hours pre-treatment
Avoid BOTOX injections two weeks before your treatment. BOTOX is completely safe to use immediately after your treatment.
Avoid chemical peels two weeks leading up to your treatment
Avoid exfoliating skin treatments
